I want you to meet my Elena, Sony Ericsson P1i. I just bought it from my friend on 27/5. He changed his phone to Blackberry, thanks to his workload hehehe. He told me want to sold his P1i about 2 months ago. Then I said what if I want his P1i. I really want to change my Nokia 5070 and buy a phone with QWERTY keypad, but I insisted I don't want Blackberry! What I had in mind is Nokia E72. But then my friend want to sold his P1i, I thought why not. I can still buy Nokia E72 later hehehe.
 
So last week we had a transaction after office hours and checked everything. Apparently, there's a bit error with the phone. Results, I have to upgraded the software, which I did last Saturday 29/5. Everything else went perfectly. I tried applications like Quickoffice, PDF+, and other applications that I know will help me in my worklife. The sound quality and image quality from P1i is also satisfying. That's why I filled my memory card with lots of songs and nice pictures.
 
In short, I fell in love with my 'Elena'. At last, I have a QWERTY keypad handphone hehehe

When I accepted this job, I never knew that I will get a lot of... how do I put it. A lot of blessing. Blessed because I have an opportunity to finish my education until I earned my bachelor degree. Working in education institution who offered a scholarship, made me become a grateful person. Lots of stories I heard from the scholarship recipients or applicants. One of the story I want to share with you.

One day, my colleague received a phone call. It's from one of the applicants. Let's call her 'Ani'. She asked to my colleague that she can't provide electricity bill. Here's what they talked:

Ani: "Sir, I can't give you the electricity bill?"

Officer: "Are you live in rental room? That's okay. Just give us reference of how many you spent on rental room."

Ani: "No, Sir. I live in a house with my family."

Officer: "Do your family live in rental house and you share electricity bill? You can provide that to us."

Ani: "No, Sir. It's just... Since 6 months ago, PLN shut the electricity in our house because we can't afford to pay the bill. Every night we must use candle to have a light and to study."

After that, Ani cried. My friend went speechless and decided to shared this story to the whole team. I read it and I can't help to say "Alhamdulillah". I still have electricity in my house. I also can pay the bills, mine and my grandparents. I can study with lights on everyday until now. I can even use computer to support my study.

On the other hand, Ani is not as lucky as me or any other people. She's graduated from SMK 112 in North Jakarta. It's amazing how she can study without electricity for 6 months. She managed to graduate through final exam. During difficult times, she still has a spirit to continue to the next level of education, college. She applied for scholarship in Sampoerna School of Business (SSB).

Makes me more grateful with my condition. More aware with my surround. Never forget to say "Alhamdulillah" everytime I wake up in the morning.

This cat named Ollie, belongs to my cousin Mudhya. I forgot is it male or female hehehe. One word for this cat,,, NAUGHTY!!! Everytime Ollie is around, always grab everyone's feet, including me. Yesterday, I discover that Ollie tried to climb the door. Everytime Ollie fell, always comeback and try to climb again. You are so naughty, Ollie!!! :D

My favourite boyband from Korea, Super Junior. Boyband with largest members, they have thirteen!!! Love their songs, dances and their stage performances. My favourite song is "It's You", among other SuJu's song hehehe. I want to post the video but had a dilemma. They have 2 versions of video. On 12/5, my team held an event in Pancoran, invited 20 orphan kids. Pray together for the successful of our project. Since it's in Pancoran, means I'm only one step away from Mr. Frog's house in Kalibata. I called him and asked will he pick me up. He said yes. But then I realized that he just got home from office and need a little time to freshen up. So I told him that I will come to his house rather than he pick me up in Pancoran. He agreed.

 At 7 PM, with my fellow teammate, I went to Kalibata with his car. My friend dropped me off on traffic light TMP Kalibata, and walked to his house. Apparently, he waited for me in front of the alley to his house. He gave me the helmet, and off we go to Jatiwaringin (yes, I must accompany my cousin while her parents in Yogya). We arrived at 8.30 PM and did our rituals,,, talked about our activities that day and any other topics. No topic is taboo between us, even about our exes. Yes, we shared stories about our exes hehehe

 I ended our conversation with asking a question that I kept for so long: "From your stories about you and your previous girlfriends and how women looked at you everytime we went to the mall, I realized you have the ability to choose whoever women you want. You just point your finger and I'm sure they will come to you. But what did you see from me??? Why me???"

 He stared at me. I thought he was thinking. Then he answered this (according to my memory):
"Okay. Before I answer it, I want you to know that all my stories about my past is true. Yes, I was a player and cheater, went to the club almost every night and drank a lot. I'm the bad guy. I don't want to hide anything from you. About 4-5 years ago, it's the darkest time of my life. My turning point is when I talked to a friend of mine about a year ago and realized I missed a lot of chances to be happy. I was a selfish jerk that moment. Suddenly, I felt tired being a jerk. I want to fix my life and how I live it for the last 2 years. I want to be a better person. When I came to your office that day, never crossed my mind that I will meet somebody like you. The first time I saw you, I thought you're a nice person, from the way you greet me and smile. Not to mention your face like an Indian people hehehe (I knew he would say that!). I'm curious and that's why I gave you my cell number. I want to know you more. From the first day we talked on the phone, I thought you are a nice person. Until today, I found lots of good quality in you. You never restrained me like my other exes. You always smile and laugh, and other things that made me fall in love with you until now. I think that's enough for me to be with you."

  ... Totally speechless ...

  Almost cried ('cause I felt my eyes a bit watery), all I can said to him was "Thank you" and held his hand... He looked at me and smile... Smile that makes me love him everyday :)

Every lunch, I always use the opportunity to browse through internet. Today, I landed on Tempo Interaktif website and read reviews from Leila S. Chudori about several movies and TV serials. There’s one title that catch my attention. It called Grey Garden, starring Jessica Lange and Drew Barrymore. From what I read, the characters named Big Edie and Little Edie, is real persons and close relatives of Jackie Kennedy. The story quite interesting and makes me want to know about this eccentric mother and daughter.

Apparently, in 1975 there’s a documentary film about these two Edie called Grey Gardens, made by David and Albert Maysles. It portrayed the life of Big Edie and Little Edie in their big house but full with wild cats, overgrown plants, mold and all dirty things you can found in one house. Everyday, they memorized their past, surrounded by wealth and dreams. How this mother-daughter showed to the outside world their ‘close’ relationship to each other.

After read it, I opened Google and searched more about this story. The results quite impressive. Beside facts about these two women (as usual, I started from Wikipedia here), I also found some fan websites dedicated to Little Edie. I even found online stores which its stuff inspired by Grey Gardens and of course, Little Edie’s style.

The more I explored, I found one article here talked about Little Edie. It’s quite touching how the writer describe her feelings when the first time she met her and she described the life of Little Edie and her mother through interview with the relatives of Little Edie. Somehow, I felt that Little Edie had this Cinderella Syndrome (except that Little Edie came from wealthy family), influenced by her mother, and when it didn’t happen, both Edie refused to accept it and choose to live in the past rather than present. I also felt that Little Edie was under full control by Big Edie, and although she love her mother so much, but in the other hand she scared of her mother’s ambition. But that’s just me.

Now I’m totally curious with this story. Wish I knew this story long time ago, at least I can watch it on HBO (yes, Grey Gardens was produced by HBO). I want to watch both movies, the 1975 documentary and 2009 movie. I can love the story I read, and now I want to see how their life depicted.

Recently, I can't stop listening to Kings Of Convenience's music. No, it's not an euphoria from their concert since it's more than a month ago. A week after concert, I thought is enough to feel euphoric. But for the last 3 days, I always listened to this same song. After I read the lyrics all over again, AHA!!! A little bit of my past experience with my long-lost friend of mine.

We finally connected again through Facebook. He gave his number and I contacted him on 30/4, which is his birthday. We talked a lot and suddenly we realized,,, We missed a lot of things. And it exactly three years since we last spoke hehe.

Apparently, I'm becoming a forgetful person these 2 days. The things that I forgot like house key (yikes!) or my battery charger for my cellphone. Or where I put my jeans, my cellphones, my pens, anything. Well, I'm a forgetful person for all my life. Something I want to reduce it. Not productive,,,

Everytime I lost my things, I always thought, "I wish I can call this thing just to ask where it is,,,". Yeah, very childish. After that, I'll leave it to Fate (LOL). If that thing was destined to be mine, it will comeback by itself. But if not, what can I say. I must accept it as my bad luck hehehe.

This habit maybe have relation with ecosystem in my room hehehe. As a girl, I'm not too neat. If you see my room, you will find lots of books and useless papers all over the floor. Sometimes, I lost things because it buried under those books or paper. I have no idea how it get there, but I found it sometimes hehehe. Just like treasure hunting in my room hehehe.

Now, my mission is to find where is my house key. Yeah it quiet dangerous isn't it,,, But I'm very sure tha I put it somewhere around the house. Not outside. So tonight, I will be a detective just to trace where is my key. Wish me luck!!!
