After Hiatus... Try To Be Positive
Which one of you got stuck last night (25/10) in Jakarta due to never ending rain and jam? Well I'm one of them. Being commuter, stuck in heavy traffic is one of the consequences. But never thought I will experiencing last night event. I walked out from my office in Sudirman on 7 PM. Got into the bus, and stuck for 1 hour in Kuningan flyover bridge because there was an accident. All I did was closed my eyes, tried to sleep, just to make my mind clear and not bashing or cursing my situation (because I already in it). So I put my iPOD on listened to some music.
Finally I can got out from the mess around 8.30 PM. In Bidakara, I decided to got out of the bus and... took a walk to Cawang!!! It's already 9 PM and I'm tired just sat in the bus without any progress. Turn out, a lot faster than any vehicle that stuck. I arrived in Cawang at 10 PM and thank God there's a taxi. I took a taxi and went straight to home. At 11 PM I finally arrived. Home Sweet Home!!!
This morning, I told my Grandparents about last night's traffic. One sentence from my Grandma, "Thank God you already have your rental room. You should move to your rental room immediately so you won't be experiencing horrible traffic because of rain."
I will move to my rental room on Wednesday. The location is exactly in front of my office!!! Very nice place and I'm grateful to have a room there because when it's only 3 rooms left when I came and only 1 with better view hehehe. So I should consider myself lucky with my rental room.
Now I'm still dizzy from the combination of exhaustion and lack of sleep. Not to mention my sore feet. I should be grateful because I'm sure lots of people arrived very very very very late at home than me. Some of them found out there were flood in their area so they have to stay alert and clean the house in the morning. So I won't complain about yesterday's event. Be positive...
